What will be the cost?
This is undoubtedly the number 1 question.
So how do we calculate cost?
In some cases we can give an accurate cost over the phone, this is usually when a customer is accurate about the quantity of items, for instance, 1 double divan bed and a 3 piece suite. So in this we know exactly what we have to deal with.
However, in most cases the amount of waste is difficult to quantify over the phone. In this case we would need to look at the job and give you a firm quote on the spot. And if it is feasible and you are in agreement with the quote do the job there and then. However on larger clearances we may have return on another day.
All quotations are free of charge and without obligation.
So what is taken in to consideration when calculating the cost?
Travel: distance, fuel, time travelling to job and then transfer station
Access: street access may difficult, flats/stairs, etc. time consuming
Labour: time taken sorting and loading, how many men, etc.
Waste disposal: quantity to be disposed of and the cost, this varies on type of waste
Hazardous waste: Asbestos, TV’s, Fridges, etc., more costly to dispose of
